Chris has deep public sector expertise and has worked within and consulted to various levels of the QLD and NSW governments for the past 15 years. He is passionate about delivering diversity outcomes for his clients and led the delivery of the inaugural Top 50 Public Sector Women (NSW) awards.
He has worked for global search firms, as well as boutique businesses prior to establishing Meritos in 2019. Chris has demonstrated experience leading a range of senior executive assignments at the Chief Executive and C-suite levels. He is recognised by clients for his dedication to delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Prior to his recruitment career, Chris held senior roles at Brisbane City Council, working as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leading the Built Environment and Land Use regulatory function. In addition, he worked for the NSW Government as a strategic adviser to the CEO of Aboriginal Affairs NSW.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Health Science and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology at Monash University.
He is an active member of the Institute of Public Administration Australia, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course and a Board Member of Sydney Chamber Opera.
